A Proven Criminal Defense Attorney Committed to Your Future
Brian F. Greenwald, Esq. was born in Miami, Florida, and later moved with his family to the Fort Lauderdale area following Hurricane Andrew. After graduating from Western High School in Davie, he attended the University of Florida, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration with a minor in Mass Communications.
Seeking a new experience outside of Florida, Brian attended Syracuse University College of Law in Syracuse, New York, where he earned his Juris Doctor. He often jokes that moving from Gainesville to Syracuse meant trading one extreme climate for another—”from swamp to tundra.” After completing law school, he returned to Florida to begin his legal career.
Brian knew early on that he wanted to become a criminal defense attorney. Following an internship with the Palm Beach County Public Defender’s Office, he pursued that calling by becoming an Assistant Public Defender. Over the next eight years, he represented thousands of clients and served as lead counsel in more than 150 jury trials, developing the courtroom skills and trial experience that continue to benefit his clients today.
In 2013, Brian founded The Greenwald Law Firm with a commitment to providing aggressive, client-focused criminal defense representation throughout Central Florida. Drawing on decades of litigation experience, he continues to defend individuals facing a wide range of criminal charges while maintaining a strong focus on trial advocacy and personalized representation.
Brian and his wife, Jenna Selsky Greenwald, Esq., are proud to raise their three children in Longwood, Florida, where they remain actively involved in their community and dedicated to serving the legal needs of local families and individuals.
